Hossein, the founder of Cutter and Grinder, has been working in the barber industry for 25 years. As a native of Iran, the system of disposing of razors after use wasn’t in existence, but rather they were passed from father to son as an heirloom. The world of barber shops looked like a little bridge connecting him to adulthood. It was a space where men came together to drink and smoke, and they valued a boy’s first shave.
